  22. 640x400 is not Overscan, it┤s Hires. And yes, it will flicker, but
  23. regardless of the monitor you use (have to buy a flickerfixer to stop
  24. that). Overscan is a mode that enlarges the standard resolution
  25. (the PAL 640x512 is enlarged to 704x589 (?)or so).

  32. Yes HAM will work, as will HAM Interlace (320x400).
  33. Half-brite is a mode that doubles the number of colors by providing
  34. each of the 16/32 colors for your chosen resolution also at a lower
  35. brightness.
